What Is a Curator?
Curators are responsible for publishing articles from the English-language blogs listed in the FI Blogs section to the articles feed on the main page. This involves following a handful of blogs and publishing relevant articles from them to the articles feed with a short introductory sentence.
What Requirements Do I Need to Meet to Become a Curator?
There are only two requirements you need to meet to become a curator:
- You must be enthusiastic about the project and about helping FIRE enthusiasts find each other and building up the European FIRE community.
- You must be prepared to spend the necessary amount of time reading the new articles from the blogs you’re assigned to and publishing them to our feed.
Note that you don’t need to be a blogger to be a curator. As long as you meet the requirements above we’ll consider you for the job.
How Much Work Is Involved?
We can assign you as many or as few blogs as you like. Just be honest with us and yourself about how much time you’re able to commit to being a curator. It’s best to underestimate how much time you have available than overestimate it. Even if you only have the time to follow one blog, that’s also fine.
What About Privacy?
We do not publish the full names or e-mail addresses of curators on this site. Curators publish articles under their WordPress user names, which they can choose themselves.
