London FI Feb Online Meetup: Partners in FIRE

February 10 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

We’ve avoided the topic of relationships until now because, well, it’s complicated. But it’s a topic that comes up regularly in meetups, and so with Valentine’s Day lurking, it’s time to dive in!

As usual, we’ll be sharing some of our own experiences (the good, the bad and the ugly), but also hearing stories and advice from our members.

We’ll tackle questions like:

* Is it easier to reach FI as a single or a couple?
* How do I find a partner who shares my attitude to money?
* How do I talk to my partner about finance?
* How do I get them on board with the idea of FIRE?
* Joint or separate finances?

You can start the conversation by posting in our Facebook group at

This is a live, interactive session, so please enable your webcam and microphone and be prepared to participate 🙂

The meeting room will be open 5-10 minutes before the scheduled start time – the URL is available when you RSVP to the event.

If you’re asked for a password in Zoom, type “FIRE”.

NB: If you can’t find the link, please message us before 6pm on the day of the event.
