Monevator passionately weighs up Passive Investing versus Active Investing
Last week I reached a new milestone with my Vrijheid Fonds. At the closing of the market on Wednesday my Vrijheid Fonds reached €100,493 ($117,111) for the very first time. My portfolio is all about dividend income, and therefore I’m not as concerned about my total portfolio value. But it is still nice to see the value increases with new capital and capital gains.
This Real Estate Report – July 2018 edition is a catch up from the last few months. Regular readers will know that we were travelling through Europe. If you are new (or interested), you can check the various travel posts here, here and here. In the mean time the real estate has been steadily going forwards, not including the expensive renovations.
Last month I started a new series about the passive income from the Dutch bloggers. And with this post I hope to inspire more people to start making passive income. By starting to make passive income, you will take control of your live. Passive income gives you the freedom of time! I think that time is our greatest asset. In fact, time is far more valuable than money in my opinion.
After writing part 1 & 2 earlier, it’s time to sit down and write this 9 Week Road Trip Report – Part 3. In between finishing the rather long to-do list…. Anyhow, we start this overview in southern Italy, go to Croatia and travel onwards to Slovenia. Enjoy the pictures!!
