FIREhub wiki

Welcome to the FIREhub Wiki!

The FIREhub wiki is designed to give an overview of all FIRE-related knowledge that is relevant for Europe. It was one of the founding ideas of FIREhub. We’d all spent loads of time researching various topics and thought it would be a good idea to create a central location to collect all the information we’d found. That way, we could hopefully save a lot of people a lot of time in searching for this information. Our hope is that over time, more and more people will contribute their own knowledge and research findings to the wiki, making it a more and more useful tool for everyone in our community. If the topic of FIRE is completely new to you, please visit the About Us page for a brief introduction. After that, you can get more in-depth information from this wiki.

How Can I Access the Wiki?

The FIREhub wiki is accessible via Google Docs at: http://bit.ly/FIREhubEUwiki

Many people have asked us why we’re using Google Docs rather than a tool such as MediaWiki or DokuWiki. The answer is simple. Our main priority for the FIREhub wiki is to make it as easy as possible for users to contribute. In this light, we feel that the text editor nature of the Google Docs allows anyone to contribute without having any knowledge of special syntax.

How Can I Contribute?

Please read the instructions in the document about how to comment, contribute and set up notifications. If you’d like to become an active contributor to this wiki, or you’d even like to help out in an administrator role, please write to us at wiki [at] firehub [dot] eu.

Do you know of any similar FIRE wiki projects? If so, please add them to the list in the wiki.

Give Us Feedback

If you have any ideas for new features you’d like to see on FIREhub or suggestions on how we could make FIREhub better, please give us feedback.
