Suggest a Blog
Do you have an FI blog that’s not on our blogroll? Or do you know of a blog that you think should be on the list? Below you’ll find a handy form you can use to suggest a blog to us. We actively encourage blogs in languages other than English!
Please note that on FIREhub we primarily feature blogs that have financial independence and its philosophy as their main theme. While we do have some pages listing blogs on closely-related topics, it is not our intention to extend these indefinitely. So please think carefully before submitting a blog that doesn’t have financial independence as one of its main themes.
To save us all a lot of time in this busy world, we recommend that you read the guidelines below before you suggest a blog to make sure it fits our quality criteria. Please do not e-mail us to ask if we can make an exception to any of these rules for you. Please understand that we made the rules for a reason and if we make an exception for you, we have to make an exception for everyone and then there’s no point in having the rules in the first place.
To be accepted to FIREhub.eu, blogs must:
- be written by someone living in Europe. (You don’t have to be originally from Europe, but you must be living here and write about topics relevant for Europeans.)
- be at least 6 months old and active in the last 6 months. (Blogs not active for 6 months will be deactivated; blogs not active for 12 months will be removed from the site completely. Blogs that have been deleted will only be reinstated after they’ve been active again for 6 months.)
- not be geared primarily to making money. (The occasional affiliate link is ok, but the main focus of the blog should be on providing interesting content.)
- present a balanced view, especially for alternative investments such as P2P lending, with critical articles and warnings about due diligence.
